Introduction:

White, hygroscopic fine powder with a pleasant smell. Insoluble in water, ethanol and ethe, soluble in acid. Zinc stearate becomes a colloid when heated and dissolved in an organic solvent and decomposes into stearic acid and the corresponding zinc salt when exposed to strong acid. It has lubricity, hygroscopicity, non-toxicity, slightly irritating, non-polluting and non-hazardous characteristics.

Uses:

‌It is used in the pharmaceutical industry, in the preparation of curing oils and lubricants, and is also used as a paint drying agent. It is used in the processing of PVC and non-toxic rubber products. It has a synergistic effect with calcium stearate and barium stearate, and can effectively improve the light and heat stability of PVC and rubber products. The dosage in PVC processing is usually less than 1 part; it is used as a touch agent for rubber products, and is also used in the manufacture of PP, PE, PS, EPS polymerization additives and pencil leads. The general dosage is 1~3 parts.
